El Raso, Guardamar del Segura

Guardamar is one of the main tourist resorts of the southern Costa Blanca, along with Orihuela Costa and Torrevieja.

Guardamar has 11km of coast in quite extensive plains and has eight expanses of golden beaches, some of which are nude beaches like those at Los Tusales, and it has a pretty pine forest protecting the dunes along the entire coastal strip in Guardamar. Guardamar has a beautiful boulevard with a range of restaurants and nice shops.
In the middle of the city there are the dunes of Guardamar del Segura are also called "Parque Alfonso XIII". This dune area covers an area of 800 hectares and connects the center with the marina.

At the end of the 19th century, large numbers of trees were planted in this area. In total there are now more than 600,000 trees.

You can use the paved path for a nice walk or cycle route, but you can of course also have a picnic and spend hours in nature, as many local Spaniards do.

El Raso is one of the popular areas in Guardamar and is 2 km from the beautiful beaches.
