Torrevieja is a city in the southeastern Alicante province of Spain, on the Costa Blanca. It is known for its Mediterranean climate and coastline. Boardwalks run along sandy beaches backed by resorts. The small Museo del Mar y de la Sal houses exhibitions on the history of the town's fishing and salt production.
