When we are in Spain we often enjoy things that are the most normal thing in the world for Spaniards. And we could learn something from that, right?
1. For example, start the day with coffee outside the door.
2. And then get the newspaper at the newsstand.
3. Go to the market more often to buy fresh vegetables, fruits, fish and other products. Not only is it tastier, but it also saves a lot of plastic.
4. Say hello out loud when you enter a shop or bar.
5. Talking to each other in an affectionate way more often, 'guapo' and 'guapa' will make everyone smile.
6. Have a longer and more extensive lunch so that you don't have to go sniffing mid-afternoon.
7. With a glass of wine. Just because it's possible.
8. Sleep an extended siesta after lunch on the weekend. How nice is that! You can also do it during the week, because with all that working from home it is much easier to take a long break to sleep, exercise, read. And then a little longer at the end of the day.
9. Taking time for friends and family. Even if you are home later than planned. The household or that work that was still lying, will come again tomorrow.
10. Eat a tapas instead of opening a bag of chips.
11. Get outside! If the weather permits, take a tour or take a look at a square nearby.
12. Taking the time to recharge. For example, by taking a month's holiday in August, or closing the business for a day or part of the week once a week.
