Using data from World Weather Online, they've added together the average number of hours of sunshine per month and created the ultimate guide to finding your next perfect vacation destination, featuring Europe's sunniest cities.

1. Alicante, Spain - average 349 hours of sunshine per month
It's official: Alicante is the sunniest city in Europe! With an average of 349 hours of sunshine per month, Alicante is the ultimate destination for sunbathers.
