Cartagena is an ideal location for practicing water sports. Diving and snorkeling is therefore very popular here. The underwater adventure in combination with all the splendor that Cartagena has to offer above the water is therefore the perfect adventure.
Snorkeling
One way to enjoy the seabed is to snorkel on Isla de Tabarca. Requiring only masks, a tube and fins, this modality allows us to observe the marine fauna of the Isla Tabarca Reserve at a shallow depth and discover the different parts of this paradise that we know so close and little.
To dive
A large part of the divers among us dive for recreational reasons. More and more people are taking the step to make their first dive. Motives for this are mainly curiosity and the adventurous element in diving.
The underwater world is virtually unknown to many people, which means that these people have hardly come into contact with marine life. Diving makes it possible to observe the diverse life underwater at extremely close range. The abundance of colorful and fascinating sea creatures that can be approached very close will take any novice diver's breath away.
But not only life underwater attracts divers, the environment also contributes to the reason why people go diving. The underwater landscape will vary per dive. While you will have all kinds of plants around you on one dive, you may have to maneuver between colorful coral the next dive.
